Day Architectural are currently working on site layout and massing options for a site currently occupied by a series of commercial units in Plymouth on behalf of Knight Frank.


Ongoing discussions with the Local Planning Authority have helped to establish a mix of unit sizes and the use of a traditional palette of materials in keeping with the site and local vernacular. The proposals provide as range of 2 -3 bed units with associated parking spaces and with the option of an integral garages. The current layout provides 85 Homes within the 2.5 Hectare site which is in-line with the government recommendation for 30-50 dwellings per hectare. We have maximised South facing gardens or East to West orientation as to minimise North facing gardens and the layout has been designed to be interspersed with green spaces including a small playground.
