Renewable Energy Plants

DAY are currently engaged on 3 active waste to energy projects across the Country. Within this highly specialised sector, DAY has one project which has secured detailed planning consent and is about to commence on site in early 2016, with two others at planning stage.

DAY work closely with Project Funders, Technology Providers and EPC Contractors to incorporate their specific needs into what can be planning sensitive facilities to satisfy all environmental and operational requirements. Our detailed understanding of the technology and process involved means that we can assist Developer / Operator Clients at all stages of the project from early inception and viability studies through to completion, commissioning and energy generation on site.

In addition to waste to energy plants, DAY is progressing a pyrolosis plant in Reykjavic, Iceland which will process tyre crumb and recycle it into diesel fuel for usage by the national fishing fleet. This project is currently in planning with a planned start on site in late 2016.
