The site is located in Swansea, a coastal city and county in South Wales. The site for the proposed student residential accommodation is sited in the city centre, on an existing carpark adjacent to Swansea train station. It is bordered by Mariner Street to the North, High Street to the East, Alexandra Road to the South and New Orchard Street to the West. 


The proposed development is a mixed used retail development consisting of 725 student rooms with a mix 80/20 % cluster units and studios.  A landmark tower 21 storeys help establish a gateway to the city whilst also driving the regeneration of the High Street.  Strong materiality has been driven through the concepts based upon the industrial heritage of the city.  The scheme is to start on site in April 2017 with completion in August 2019.
