Gary has extensive experience in healthcare, commercial and student accommodation. Gary joins us to focus on these sectors where he has had fifteen years of experience of working in the architectural and construction industry. Gary will also be responsible for all fashion matters within DAY.   DAY also welcomes our new in-house Interior Designer Rachel Eardley who brings with her extensive interior design and fit out experience in the retail, leisure, residential and commercial sectors. Rachel has recently completed the refurbishment and fit out of Royal Cake Makers Fiona Cairns office and staff hub at their bakery in Leicestershire.

other-news-itemsOther news items On a small, local level, DAY has recently obtained planning approval for the conversion of a Grade 2 Listed barn in Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster. This four bedroom contemporary conversion will be carried out to a high specification and will include a double height feature lounge and open plan kitchen and family room.   DAY continues its record of involvement within the student accommodation sector with new schemes commencing in London, Coventry, Sheffield, Newcastle and Southampton. In the meantime, two live planning applications progress on Cartwright Gardens in London and St. James' Point in Newcastle.   DAY has joined partnership with a sustainable, modular, low cost building manufacturer that produces Client bespoke buildings for any location. As designers we will work with the Client and manufacturer to create a space solution that is substantially cheaper and arguably architecturally superior to the traditional build alternative.
day-commissioned-for-campus-development-in-surreyDAY commissioned for Campus development in Surrey DAY has been commissioned to develop proposals for NESCOT College Surrey, Epsom’s College of Further and Higher Education. This £40m project will redevelop the existing Campus through a combination of new build student accommodation and refurbishment phased proposals. Work commences in February, we will keep you updated on progress.

DAY HQ is located within the Underley Business Centre set within the 3700 acre Underley Estate on the outskirts of Kirkby Lonsdale near Lancaster. Our new office is 10 miles from Junction 36 of the M6 and has unlimited parking so please do feel free to pop in and see us. Our offices are set within the most spectacular scenery for all you mountain bikers and dedicated countryside enthusiasts.
