Newton Building, University OF SALFORD

The proposed works are to overclad the North and East facing elevations of the Newton Building (University of Salford), bringing these prominent facades up to a standard befitting of its immediate surroundings and of a highly regarded, cutting edge University. Form and function are linked through an abstraction of Newton’s theory of colour, giving a building that is both geographically and functionally prominent on campus an identity that reflects and reacts to its context and use.
