Cutting edge student accommodation combined with an extensive refurbishment of a City Centre Grade 2 Listed Arts School within a Conservation Area.
This project provides 106 new build student accommodation beds on a sensitive City Centre site within the Wrexham University Regent Street Arts Campus. The accommodation replaces outdated craft workshops which will be replaced and integrated at lower level adjoining the Grade 2 Listed Arts School which will be extensively remodelled and refurbished as part of the works. Respecting and retaining key views of the Listed Building and wider views across the Conservation area were key to securing planning consent in July with a planned start on site in late 2019 for August 2021 completion.
