Engineering Building, Glyndwr University, Wrexham
A brand new, cutting edge engineering facility.
This project forms a major part of the University's Campus 2025 proposals to totally transform their existing Campus through a series of individual existing building refurbishments combined with two contemporary new build facilities. The new Engineering Building sits at the heart of the Campus facing the main Listed Building and proposed Learning Gateway Building and replaces the demolished existing Engineering Building. Extensive public realm works are planned around the new building linking it to the established central University landscaped courtyard quadrant in addition to creating better internal cycle and pedestrian connectivity. The facility will include cutting edge ground floor workshops plus first floor lecture and staff rooms.
