New emergency and paediatric facilities for Barnsley General.
A new extension to the existing emergency department at Barnsley General Hospital to create a new children’s assessment unit. The new extension will allow the decant of the existing paediatric emergency department facilities from within and enable the vacated areas to be redeveloped into expanded majors and minors facilities. This will streamline patient flow and increase capacity across all key areas at BGH’s emergency department.
