Refurbished restaurant facility with reimagined catering opportunities
The Retreat is a refurbished restaurant facility with over 150 covers and a reimagined catering offer that provides healthy, fresh seasonal food. We developed a concept that aims to create a genuine sanctuary, away from the busy hospital environment. Key to the space is a bespoke banquette seating unit which includes a spine of planting that welcomes people into the space and creates a natural barrier to add privacy to the main seating area. A large central social area is broken up of various high and low table settings, booths, and banquette seating. Coupled with high benches with an associated power supply, the space promotes a coffee shop / co-working environment for its users.
