Destination Office aiming to encourage staff interaction with an enhanced workplace experience
After the pandemic and adopting a more flexible work ethic, Ombudsman Services sort to refresh their workplace in order to create a destination office that would attract staff back in and encourage integration amongst teams. It was important to the client to create a hub with everything under one roof in order for staff to be able to make full use of their day at work. Penketh Group had already formed a relationship with Ombudsman Services and approached DAY Interior Design to help them with the design approach, furniture and finishes selection for Ombudsman. DAY Interior Design’s works included a full refurbishment of their Reception, a new Gym facility complete with changing rooms, a Bar, a new Business Suite, and Conference/Event space. Our aim was to provide a welcoming and active environment with a variety of spaces for both task-driven and social activities. We wanted the space to feel open and contemporary to attract users but also provide practical solutions. This was an exciting project to be a part of. It has been well received by staff and was a great opportunity to collaborate with Penketh Group and work on a variety of spaces within the one scheme.
