With impressive views over the Rossendale Valley, The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery’s transformation delivers an exciting attraction where visitors can explore Rossendale’s past, present and future. Comprised of a new contemporary extension that links the 1840s Georgian style manor house with the converted barn and stables building, the project also includes a new main entrance, restaurant, bar, exhibition spaces, events space, gift shop, landscaping and numerous other provisions. The project achieved practical completion in June 2021.
